Personally, to me a hero is someone who you look up and want to be like them because you like the way they live their life. My hero is most defiantly my mom. Although there are certain things that drive me crazy that she does, for the most part I do want to be like her. I love the way she so understanding and she might say no I can’t go to the party or what not but at the end of the day I understand there is a good reason behind it. I love the way she carries herself and she always looks flawless, well at least to me she does. I might sound like a three year old, but I do want to be just like her(:
To me, a hero is person you can look up to and go to with any problem or consern. A hero is someone you admire and you want to follow in their footsteps,or want to be more like them. My hero is my mom. She has done everything and anything for me. She has always been by my side, through good and bad. I look up to her and i respect her in every way. I love her with all my heart, she is my mom, my sister, my best friend. I want to be like her in the way that she is a strong woman. She is always very precise and organized, she wants everything to be perfect. She always keeps herself flawless. I love the fact that education comes first for her. She is always on top of me with my studies and i aprreciate that. She might drive me crazy sometimes, but i k now she does it because she cares about me and wants the best for me.
To me, a hero means a person who can be a role model in everyday life. It is a person who lives their life to the fullest as well as being the best they can be. It is a person who tries their personal best as much as they can. Someone who is modest and doesn't think of themselves of excessive importance or more important than anyone else. It is someone who other people look up to and think of them as a great person.
To me, my hero is my mom. She always tries to teach me a lesson by personal experience. She learned from her mistakes and tries to keep me out of the same mistakes she had. She tries to keep her problems aside to assist me. She works as hard as she can and over just to give me a better life and a better education. She bends over backwards time after time to keep me on the right track.
When I first think of hero, I think of a guy in spandex and a brightly colored vest with a cape who saves a town from everyday villains. In real life, heroes don't come in packages like that. They're everyday people who help people in different ways. Usually heroes are admired by more than one person. Heroes to me, help people when they have troubles themselves. They seldom work for personal gain and don't expect anything in return. I know everyone has so far has said it, but my heroes would have to be both my mom and Jesus Christ. Jesus died for us. I think that's the biggest thing someone could do for you. Die for you to save you. When I think of all his struggles and how he had to live his life knowing he was going to die the way he did, I feel so blessed. He is the biggest hero of them all. My mom is also my hero. She has gone through so much in her life, that I don't want to explain. She used her faith in Jesus as her rock to support her through it all. She's a single mom who failed the bar to become a lawyer 8 times before she finally passed it. That's four years of not giving up. I think that's hero quality. I love them both with all of my heart and i'm glad they're my heroes.
The word hero means someone who does good things looking for nothing in return. It is someone who considers others instead of themselves first. A hero in my life is my mom. She always puts others before herself. She never denies a request, she is always accepting of anyone. She truly is my hero.
To me a hero is someone who is willing to do anything and everything for others. No matter what the danger is to themselves, the would do anything in their power to help someone else. Whether it be a superhero from the comics or a real life superhero like Martin Luther King Jr., it is their job to help make our lives better, and to make sure we are always happy. Everyone always says their mom is their hero, but mine truly is. With everything she has gone through and everything she has yet to go through she is my one true inspiration. Even when she is in pain or is so tired she can't even lift herself off of bed she would still do anything for my family in a heartbeat. There was even a time when my mom, she had just got out of the hospital two days before and still had her stitches on, came down the stairs with jeans, blouse, and lipstick on and she said,"C'mon girls, if you want to go to dance practice and if you want to go to drama we have to get moving." My mom is amazing and absolutely insane but she has the purest heart of gold. She is a true hero to anyone and everyone who has met her.
To me, a hero is someone who can help solve problems and is kind to one another. A hero is someone you admire and you follow in their footsteps, or want to like them. A hero in my life is my mother because she did what it takes to help me live a better life. Sometimes she may be grouchy, but it is because she is doing what it takes, or how it takes. I like the way she takes cares of us. She does not let us go out with our friends, or do anything with them. However, I can see why because she wants me to focus our education before doing things to be successful in our lives.
To me a hero is someone that you look up too someone that inspires you in many different ways.My hero is my sister because she manages to have outstanding grades in the honors college but she makes time to have fun.She has been my inspiration to me all my life.Even though when we were younger we use to fight all the time to the point that we strongly disliked each other. But, as we got older we got along better and now were inseparable and we are really close. She is just an amazing person in every which way to me.
I agree with Christine when she says that a hero is someone who you picture in brightly colored spandex. It could even be someone that you picture in a shining armor.
I agree with Tiffany when she says that a a hero is a person who can be a role model in everyday life. Someone who lives their life to the fullest and always tries to do the best they can in everthing.
I like the way Christine says that she thinks a hero as a guy in spandex and a brightly colored vest with a cape who saves a town from everyday villains, but like she says, heroes are everyday people who help us in different ways.
I agree with Gabriel when he said that he considers a hero to be someone who does good things looking for nothing in return, someone who considers others instead of themselves first. That is very true and heroes are very good people.
Hero to me means a person who does a act of kindness and is a role model to someone. Heros come in all shapes and sizes. In reality, everyone is a gero for someone else. my hero would have to be my mom. she always stands up for whats right and never takes no for an answer. she is always pushing me to acheive more in life and teaching me something new everyday. she ALWAYS puts others before herslef no matter what the circumstance may be.
The word hero to me is a person who makes oyu fell good in all aspects. That person is a person that knows you well and is always there for you to depend on and always give you advice .I think its hard to find a hero especially without a flaw but you must see beyoond that.
I think my biggest hero in life has to be my mom . My mom knows me better that anyone even my sister and she is always there for me . I can and do tell my mom everything and shes always got the right thing to say even if it gets me mad its the truth and the best way to go by the situation.:)
i agree with tiffany in the fact that you look up to them on a daily basis in many situartions but also that when its your mom they can teach you from their own hardships to learn a lesson.
I agree with christina because i think god is always gonna be my hero as well because he sacrificed his life for us and we are always tring to be like he was: a good person.
I think a hero is someone who you can look up to and go to advice. A hero is someone you can relate to. A hero is also a noble person with tons and tons of courage. My hero is my mom. There are many reasons why i consider her to be my hero. She is very organized and detailed. She treats everyone with respect and dignity. She doesn't look down on anyone. Although she might drive me crazy, I know she's doing it because she loves me <3. She has taught me to learn how to prioritize things and how to be responsible. I love my mom with all my heart and that is why i consider her to be my hero. <3 :D
I believe a hero is a person who is brave and courageous. They do not run or hide from difficult situations, instead, they face them head on and also overcome them. My hero is my mother; and she definitely fits the part.I may scream at her half the time but the next day we can't stand the anger and pretend as if it never happened. She helps others without expecting a reward. She will do anything for my brother and I if it will lead us in the right path. She truly does care for others and is always trying to instill good morals and values. She is my hero and always will be.
Amanda; I want to be just like my mom when i grow up too(: Gabriel; I totally agree with putting others before yourself. It's definitely what my mom does and a major heroic quality. Marissa; I also believe that giving advice is something a hero does, especially to depend on.
In my opinion, most heroes don't really have super powers. You don't need to have super powers to be a hero. A hero is a person who helps people and does things that many others do not have the courage to do. Someone who is a hero doesn't go about saying they are, they don't brag. They seem normal and maybe the least expected person. They do the right thing and they are people who should be respected and looked up too. Heroes set examples for kids and can become their idol. My one true hero are my parents especially my mom. My mom is amazing. She is a sweet person who always tries to do the right thing. She tries not to hurt people. She makes many sacrifices for me. My mom will do crazy things for me. When she gets home dead tired from her job, she will come straight home and take me out. She wants me to be happy and she's the most amazing mom ever. She is courageous, loving, encouraging and supporting, understanding, and hard working. She tries to protect me and teach me lessons. Everything that I know, I learned from her. If it wasn't for my mom, I would not be the same person I am today. I love my mom and I would be lucky to someday be half the mom she is! (:
I agree with tiffanyc when she describes a hero as, "Someone who is modest and doesn't think of themselves of excessive importance or more important than anyone else." Heroes are the way they are because of the good in them. They don't do anything good just to look good,at least not the true heroes. They are pure in heart and good.
I agree with alysem when she says that a hero is someone that you look up too someone that inspires you in many different ways. A hero is an inspiring, good being who people see as their idol. They are someone people respect and would feel proud to be.
I agree with chelseal when she says that a hero is someone who solves problems and is kind to others. Heroes aren't mean, they are kind loving people who do their best to solve any situation they are in. One of the main reason people like heroes is because they are kind. (:
I agree with TiffanyC. A hero is someone who can be a role model in everyday life, and that they live thee best they can everyday. If someone can do that, than that is a true hero.
I also agree with GabrielD. Hero are people who do things with nothing for return. The fact that they put others before themselves makes them an unselfish hero.
I agree with BrontieH. A Hero is a person who does acts of kindness and is a role model to someone. They all come in different shapes and sizes. Also, they can be a hero for others around them.
A hero is a person of valor. It is a person of true character who has good morals and knows what is right. A hero protects what he stands for, whether he stands for family, friends or the law. They are people who do what is right and will at all costs do whatever it takes to protect what they stand for. A hero in my life would be my mother. She has juggled being a father and a mother for both my sister and I. She has also worked incredibly hard ever since she got into college. She always is working throughout the entire week and still has time to give me all the love she has for me. Even though my father is never there for me, she makes up for him and does her best to make me happy. Never in my life have I met a woman with such love for the people she cares about, perseverance, and as much time she puts into her job and family. I could not ask for a better mother. She is my hero, and I love her for always being there for me.
I agree with amandal because i believe that a hero is someone who you respect as an individual and look up to them. You think of them as an icon and maybe as your mentor. Everyone needs a hero, because in life, we sometimes struggle through hardships and need something like a hero to inspire us.
I agree with gabrield because a hero is a generous person. A hero does good, without expecting anything in return. He is an idol to be respected for being caring, loving, and standing for what is right. A hero is true character who stands up for the good in the world.
I agree with alysem because to me, a hero is someone who can inspire others to great things. Heroes help and protect other people, and sometimes even the world, based on there morals and beliefs. I think she has a good point of view seeing that heroes can be inspirational with all the good things they do and for all the great things they intend to pursue.
To me a hero is someone that you can look up to. This person would be like a role model to you. Also, to distinguish them from a model I think they must have done something to help you somehow, like save you from something. This is not always the case, but it is a plus. A hero must have done something or some things that can be looked up to. My overall hero is Jesus. He is perfect, after all. And I think it’s self-explanatory what he has done to help/save me. My everyday life heroes are my parents. They are both very hard working and they sacrifice a lot to help their children succeed. They always want what’s best for me, even when I don’t think so. I know they love me because they won’t put up with me when I have a bad attitude. They are supportive of me and want me to have a good future. If it weren’t for them I wouldn’t have accomplished even a fraction of what I have today. I wouldn’t trade them for anyone else.

I agree with tiffany when she said that a hero is modest. Anyone who thinks highly of themselves is really just annoying, and not hero material.
I also agree with victoria and stefanie that a hero has a lot of courage. They face deal with difficulties and do not run from them.
I like the way that brontie said that heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Another one of my heroes that I didn’t mention is a little boy at my church named Dylan. He has spent he whole life battling cancer and has many difficulties, but he is the most excited and happiest boy you will ever meet. I think he is the one who gets his parents through his treatments. :)
I agree with Stefanie because I believe a hero is a person who is brave and courageous. They do not run or hide from difficult situations, they face them and overcome them.
A hero to me is a role model in your life. A hero is someone you can ask for advice and gives you guidance. My hero is my father, he has always been there for me. Unlike my mom, my dad did not show love and caring like the way my mom did. I had to earn his respect as a son, or at least thats how i felt. But he did show me his love and guidance in a different way. I appreciate the way his lessons, have taught me that you must earn something if you wish to recieve it.
To me, a hero is someone who takes time out of their own life and their personal struggles to help others. A hero is a person who is usually a role model for people and a person everyone should strive to be like. They put others before themselves and I think that is a very important quality a hero must have. For example, I watch this show called "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and every week, another hero is mentioned. These people have gone through so much and they have so little and they still put others before themselves; they want to help others before they help themselves. Some people also see heroes as being strong, muscular, and older but heroes can be as young as your average 10 year old.
A hero in my life is my grandpa. He has gone through so much during his life to become the amazing person that he was. He was brilliant, kind, and he is probably the smartest person I have ever met in my entire life. Even though he had his own problems to deal with, he always took the time, along with my grandma, to take care of my sister and me to help my parents while they were at work. He was a Catholic and he is the only person I know of that has read the entire Bible various times. He passed away three years ago but all of his accomplishments and everything he had taught me will carry me through life. My grandpa was truly a hero.
A hero to me is someone you can look up to and tell everything to. A person who won't look at you differently when you do something or say something. A hero is someone who will help you always and never expect to get something out of it. My hero is my sister Stephanie.
My sister is the only person i truly can tell everything to and she wouldn't judge me. She will help me and when I do something wrong she would tell me. She gives me the best advice ever. I love my hero. (:
alexis, I agree with you in your thought that heroes can range anywhere from someone strong and muscular to a 10 year old. Many people have said their heroes are their moms and most moms aren't super strong and muscular.
melissa a, i agree with you in your thought that heroes don't brag. Heroes are very humble people who do what they do because they want to, and they don't need anything in return.
don, i agree with you that heroes are people who know what's right and do anything to keep it that way. Heroes right the wrongs, it's an important quality of them.
I agree with Alyse when she says your hero should inspire you. You should want to be as much as that person as possible and have them be your role model.
A hero to me is someone that you look up to because you want to be like them. A hero is someone that is always there to help you, even when you don't ask for it. The hero in my life is my grandmother. I want to grow up to be exactly like her. She helps everybody in need, she has a great sense of humor, and she puts 100% of effort into everything she does (especially her cooking). She still looks good and healthy, even in her old age because on top of caring for others, she still finds time to care for herself as well. I want to grow up to be exactly like me hero.
a hero in my life would probably be my grandparents mainly because theyve always been there for me and even tho i mess with them sometimes and take them for granted there always there for me. they came to this country with nothing and now theyve accomplished alot and i look up to them every day of my life. even though i actually look down to them cuz there really short. anyways there my heroes and always will be.
i agree with amanda when she says " to me a hero is someone who you look up and want to be like them because you like the way they live their life." that is very true
i agree with christine when she says that "When I first think of hero, I think of a guy in spandex and a brightly colored vest with a cape who saves a town from everyday villains. In real life, heroes don't come in packages like that. They're everyday people who help people in different ways."
gabriel has a point when he says "The word hero means someone who does good things looking for nothing in return."

I agree with amanda when she says that a hero is someone you look up to. It is someone who you want to be like.

I agree with Gabriel when he said that a hero is someone who does good things and looks for nothing in return.
I agree with Stefanie when she said "I believe a hero is a person who is brave and courageous."

alexis, I agree with you in your thought that heroes can range anywhere from someone strong and muscular to a 10 year old.
I agree with amanda when she said a hero is a person that you want to be like because you like the way they live their lives.
I agree with melissaA when she said to her a hero is someone who you can go to with any concern or problem.
I agree with christine when she said that heroes are people with problems of their own, but still continue to help others.
i agree with amanda that a hero is someone who you look up to and want to be like them.
I agree with melissa that a hero is someone you admire and want to follow in their footsteps.
I also agree with tiffany in the sense that a hero is a person who can be a role model in everyday life.
I agree with Gabriel when he says that a hero doesn't look for anything in return. He just wants to make people happy and not worry about himself.
I agree with Chelsea when she says a hero is someone you can look up to. You should be able to look up to them for love and support.
I agree with Christine when she says that modern heroes arent like the ones you find in spandex saving the town from everyday villains.
I agree with Gabriel in the sense that heroes never look for anything in return for their deeds.
I agree with Brontie in the fact that everyone is a hero to someone else.
a hero in my life would probably be my grandparents mainly because theyve always been there for me and even tho i mess with them sometimes and take them for granted there always there for me. they came to this country with nothing and now theyve accomplished alot and i look up to them every day of my life. even though i actually look down to them cuz there really short. anyways there my heroes and always will be.
i agree with amanda when she says
" to me a hero is someone who you look up and want to be like them because you like the way they live their life." that is very true
i agree with christine when she says that "When I first think of hero, I think of a guy in spandex and a brightly colored vest with a cape who saves a town from everyday villains. In real life, heroes don't come in packages like that. They're everyday people who help people in different ways."
gabriel has a point when he says "The word hero means someone who does good things looking for nothing in return."
